摘　　要：随着经济全球化和我国向西开放战略的实施,以建设丝绸之路经济带为契机,我国西部地区将会成为对外开放的新门户。机场功能在城市化进程中不断延伸,已成为具有地区辐射力的交通和经济综合体。本文在这一背景下,总结国内外空港经济区发展的理论成果与实践经验,分析乌鲁木齐的民航和经济发展现状,并提出空港经济区发展的目标和思路,以促进乌鲁木齐市的城市发展和丝绸之路经济带的建设。With the economic globalization and the implementation of the strategy of China＇s open-to-the west, China＇s western region take the opportunity of the Silk Road Economic Belt construction, and it will be the new portal for opening. On account of function＇s extention by urbanization, airports have been not only transportation but economic complexes with regional radiation. Under the background, by reviewing the theoretical achievements and practical experience of airport economic zone development, this article analyzes current situation of civil aviation and economic development in Urumqi, and draw the plan of the construction of airport economic zone, in order to promote the development of city and the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
