基于相移光纤光栅有机聚合物电光调制器研究

摘  要:将相移光纤光栅(PSFBG)有机聚合物相结合,利用相移光纤光栅的窄带透射峰特性,设计了一种D型结构的全光纤电光调制器,并对其进行理论分析。主要研究了聚合物到纤芯中心的距离、聚合物厚度以及聚合物折射率对相移光纤光栅中心波长漂移量的影响,分析了高频调制电压下相移光纤光栅的传输谱的变化。研究结果表明,通过选择合适参数,当聚合物折射率变化为10-4时,中心波长漂移量可以达到10-2nm;同时,高频电压调制下,相移光纤光栅传输谱的形状以及中心波长还会受光栅长度和调制频率的影响。Combining phase-shift fiber Bragg grating(PSFBG) with organic polymer and using the narrow trans-mission peak of the PSFBG, a full fiber electro-optic modulator(EOM) with D-shape is designed and the theoreticalanalysis is given. The influence of the structure parameters and the polymer material on the center wavelength-shift-ed(Δλ) of PSFBG is mainly investigated, including the distance of the polymer to the fiber core, the polymer thick-ness, the polymer refractive index, meanwhile the transmission spectrum of PSFBG Based D-shape polymer EOM isanalyzed when the high-frequency modulated voltage is applied. Research results show that Δλ can reach 10^-2nmwhen the refractive index of the polymer is 10^-4by choosing the optimal parameters. And the shape of PSFBG trans-mission spectrum and the center wavelength is also influenced by grating length and modulated frequency underhigh-frequency modulated voltage.
