摘　　要：海南■Gorsachius magnificus是全球性濒危鸟类,我国Ⅱ级重点保护野生动物。广西是海南■重要的分布区。根据24年来对海南■的长期调查研究,结果表明:海南■在广西有4个分布区34个分布点,呈零星分布,分布区面积十分狭小。其中仅有4个分布点位于自然保护区内,其余30个均处于保护空缺状态。本文对海南■的保护空缺进行了初步探讨,并提出了相关保护建议。White-eared night heron（ Gorsachius magnificus） was a globally endangered bird species and listed as class Ⅱnational protected species. Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was an important distribution area of G. magnificus. Based on the 24-year study of this species,34 localities in Guangxi had been found,and among of which,only four distributed in nature reserves while the others were out of the protection. The conservation gap of the species was discussed and the suggestions were put forward.
