摘 要:在永久磁场作用下,磁性座滴的变形以及与另一非磁性座滴的合并可以通过研究坐落在疏水表面的两种座滴来实现。当两座滴互相接触时,两座滴表面能的释放导致合并过程瞬间发生。此后,合并后的座滴会随着磁铁继续运动,从而非磁性座滴的混合在移动过程中出现并得到促进。试验中清楚观察到了座滴移动并与荧光座滴混合的动力学过程。非磁性座滴中放入了荧光粉,使得合并过程以及合并完成后座滴内的浓度分布可以得到直接且便捷的观察。In the presence of a non-uniform magnetic field,the deformation of a ferrofiuid droplet and its coalescence with another diamagnetic droplet was investigated with stationary droplets on a hydrophobic surface.At the first stage,the ferrofiuid droplet was stretched and deformed under the effect of an external magnetic force.Upon touching,the merging was realized instantly through the release of surface energy of the two droplets.Based on the understanding,ferrofiuid droplet was then used for the medium to realize merging of two diamagnetic droplets.One of the diamagnetic droplets contains dye for a better visualization.Both top view and side view of the merging process were captured at the same time.
