摘　　要：结合桩基设计思路,介绍了疏桩基础的概念和设计方法,并以某机械通风冷却塔结构工程为例,对常规桩基方案与疏桩基础方案作了比较,指出疏桩基础方案充分发挥了天然地基和桩的潜力,是经济、安全、科学的桩基设计新形式。Combining with pile foundation design concept,the paper introduces the identification and design methods of sparse pile foundation.Taking the mechanical ventilation cooling tower structure engineering as an example,it compares common pile foundation scheme to sparse pile foundation scheme,and points out that： sparse pile foundation fully plays the potential of natural foundation and pile. Therefore,it is a new economic,safe and scientific pile foundation design form.
