摘　　要：法定呈缴是保存民族文化遗产的重要举措。本文全面概述南非在英属殖民地时期、英属自治领地时期和南非共和国时期法定呈缴制度的立法沿革,重点分析其现行的法定呈缴制度体系与特点,并探讨南非《法定呈缴法》在实施过程中存在的主要问题。南非人均GDP与我国相仿,其法定呈缴制度的经验和教训均值得我们借鉴。Legal deposit is an important measure to preserve national cultural heritage.This article mainly outlines the history and legislative process of the legal deposit system during the period of the British colony,the British dominion and the Republic of South Africa.After that,the article analyses the main contents and characteristics of current legal deposit system in South Africa.And then the main problems which come from the implementation of Legal Deposit Act in South Africa are discussed.The per capita GDP in South Africa is similar to that in China,so the experiences and lessons of legal deposit system in South Africa are worth learning.
