摘　　要：科尔维尔是加拿大当今最著名的画家之一。他的作品画风细腻,题材多样,多是围绕现实生活展开创作,传达出相对恒定的创作意图。作品通过理性的手段规划构图,形成冷峻而有秩序感的画面。画中平常的生活场景由于画家的独特手法及其独具匠心的处理而意味非常。他成功地将现代社会人与人之间的疏离感传达出来,是当代为数不多的将时间与空间关联在一起的画家。Alexander Colville is one of the most famous artists in contemporary Canada. His works are of an exquisite painting style and diverse themes, most of which focus on real life to convey his relatively constant creation intention. All his works are designed and composed by rational means to form cool pictures with a sense of order. Alexander Colville is one of a small number of artists who connect time and space together in the contemporary era. He reproduces ordinary life scenes in his paintings with unique techniques and inventive treatment, making his works have an unrealistic meaning remarkably different from the real life and thus successfully conveying the sense of alienation between people in the modern society.
