摘　　要：通过描述DVB-S2和ABS-S系统标准的组成、支持的业务范围和信道编码的优点,并对两项标准在信源编码、信道编码、后向兼容、频带利用率四方面进行对比,提出应用8PSK调制技术,能显著提高卫星数字电视的频带利用率,达到增加节目传送量的目的。By dscribing the constitution of DVB-S2 and ABS-S system standard, the business scope they supported and advantages of their channel coding, and comparing the the two standerds from four aspects：source coding,channel coding, backward compatibility and frequency band, we put forward that application of 8PSK modulation technology can significantly improve frequency band utilization of satellite digital TV, thus achieving the goal of increasing program transmission volume.
