摘　　要：基于通用数据库开展学科评估，既是高校图书馆文献建设决策的尝试，也能为开展学科服务积累经验。选取中国知网为通用数据库代表，基于该数据库文献数据的计量分析，对国内高校水利工程学科进行评估。实验表明，该方法简洁、高效，且易于推广。Discipline evaluation based on bibliometric analysis of general database is a forward-loo- king work about document construction in college library, which can accumulate experience for sub- ject service. Choosing CNKI as representative of general databases, this paper discusses the method- ology of bibliometric analysis to analyze the data extracted from database literature and then carries out discipline reviewing of hydraulic engineering field. The experiment result shows that the method is simple and efficient, thus easy to be promoted.
