21世纪研究型大学图书馆的定位与发展策略思考

摘　　要：文章运用数据分析、网页和文献调研的方法,通过对全美高校图书馆的馆藏资源和人力资源在三个学位授予层的分配状况的研究,对10个世界一流高校的图书馆分馆的网络调研,以及对我国近20年研究生教育规模变化的分析,发现高校图书馆的服务重心正向高端用户倾斜,成本投入与被投入群体规模相比呈倒三角的趋势,提出在新的信息环境和新的科学研究范式下提高图书馆自身研究能力的重要性,以及构建研究型图书馆应该是21世纪研究型高校学术研究和学科发展的战略要求。指出了研究型图书馆的职能特征以及提升自身研究能力的切入点。Studying the identification and development strategies of research- based libraries has very important realistic meanings under the new information environment and the new research paradigms. By using data analysis,web search and literature investigation,we analyzed the status of the collections resources and the distributions of human resources in all USA academics libraries which are grouped at the three degrees granting levels in all USA academic libraries,we investigated the sub- libraries in 10 World- class universities,studied the scale change of the postgraduate in China in last two decades. All data presented evidence that the services of libraries in the world- class research- oriented universities is shifting to advanced users. A top- down triangle relationship between the investment budgets and the scale for user is emerged. Therefore an academic libraries have to gain their research capabilities to provide an efficient services to development of research- oriented university. At the end,we presented the characteristics and structures of research- based libraries and the starting points of work.
