摘　　要：IPTV所使用的音视频播放平台将是成为未来家庭数字媒体终端的核心设备,它能为用户提供多种交互式媒体服务.其中流媒体服务作为其核心服务,为IPTV提供了重要的竞争优势.因此,优秀的多媒体播放功能可以说是IPTV成功的保障.在此背景下,本文作者完成了嵌入式IPTV多媒体播放器的研究及设计工作.Internet Protocol television is one of the newest technology of television services. It can provide a variety of multimedia services such as television,video,audio etc delivered over IP based networks. The IPTV platform will be a typical representative of the new generation of digital home media terminal devices; it can be configured according to the user＇s choice of a variety of multimedia services function. Streaming media services is always treated as its core services and provides an important competitive advantage for IPTV. Therefore,excellent multimedia playback capabilities can be said to guarantee the success of IPTV. In this context,the author practice in the research and designe of embedded IPTV multimedia player.
