摘　　要：王之春是晚清洋务派代表人物之一,他通过考察和比较西方国家的教育,指出了中国教育的弊端,提出了一些新的适应洋务事业的教育主张:逐渐变通科举,改革学校教育;设立专门学堂,推广西学,适应洋务所需;设洋务馆和储才馆,为国所用;派人出国游历游学和广译西方书报以增长国人学问。其思想带有"西学中源"的文化观念、经世致用的价值取向、维护统治的阶级立场和救国图强的爱国情怀。Wang Zhi-chun is one of the representatives of Westernization in late Qing Dynasty.Through the study and compared of the education in western countries,he pointed out disadvantages in China＇s education and proposed some new education advocates which is suitable to the Westernization causes.The imperial examination should be gradually accommodated and the school education should be reformed.We should establish specifically school to promote western learning to adapt the needed Westernization.We should set Westernization house and talent storage house for the country to use. We should send someone to go abroad to study and translate the western books to increase the knowledge of the Chinese people.His idea has the cultural values with＂the western culture originated from China＂,the practical value,maintaining the ruling class position and the patriotism of saving and strengthening the country.
