摘　　要：长篇小说《静静的顿河》是关于顿河流域哥萨克广阔历史生活的史诗,提出了重要的伦理道德问题:(1)犁与刀:身份的伦理悖论:(2)水与火:情感的伦理困境,(3)红与白:性格的伦理矛盾,(4)逃离与回归:人性的伦理选择。本文运用文学伦理学理论,分析这部经典作品在探索哥萨克群体的伦理道德问题时所表现出的不可超越的艺术价值,以揭示其丰富的伦理思想及其教诲意义。＂And Quiet Flows the Don＂ is an epic of the Cossack historical life in the basin of Don River. This epic puts forward significant ethical and moral problems ： （1） Plough and sword ： the ethical paradox of identity： （2） Water and fire ： the ethical paradox of emotion, （3） Red and white ： the ethical paradox of personality, （4） Escape and return ： the ethical choice of humanity. This paper aims to adopt the principles of ethical literary criticism in analyzing the artistic values of this novel and in exploring the Cossack community＇s ethics, in order to uncover its abundant ethical thoughts and teaching value.
