Objective To investigate the effect of non- negative pressure drainage in gas- trointestinal decompression nursing after esophageal carcinoma surgery. Methods A total of 80 pa- tients with esophageal carcinoma in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group, the control group was given conventional negative pressure drainage, and the obser- vation group was given non - negative pressure drainage, and the drainage volume, recovery and ad- verse reactions after the operation of the two groups were compared. Results The drainage volume in the operative day in the observation group was less than that in the control group, there was sta- tistically significant difference (P 〈 0.05). There was no significant difference in drainage volume, adverse reactions and the complication between the two groups after 1 d, 2 d and 3 d after the opera- tion (P 〉0.05). The exhaust time, gastric tube indwelling time and hospitalization time in the ob- servation group was less than that in the control group, there was statistically significant difference (P 〈 0.05). Conclusion Non - negative pressure drainage can not affect the gastrointestinal de- compression effect, and it can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in esophageal carci- noma patients.
