摘　　要：爱情是英国作家劳伦斯作品的主题,无论是其代表作《查泰莱夫人的情人》、《儿子与情人》,还是其大量中短篇作品,都具有显著的主题特征。分析其作品可以发现,劳伦斯爱情作品具有显著的划时代意义。Eros and sex are foregrounded as the leitmotif of Lawrence＇s fictional writings. This is so characteristic of his novels like Lady Chatterley＇s Lover, Sons and Lovers as well as some of his tales and novelle. And the present paper pertains to be an analysis of the historical significance of this leitmotif revealed in his major erotic works.
