论荣赫鹏急进侵略中国西藏与“反思”之影响

摘　　要：在英印总督寇松的支持下,狂热的殖民主义者荣赫鹏率领军队恣意进攻中国西藏拉萨,这不仅严重破坏了中国的主权,而且扰乱了英国政府的亚洲战略布局。最终,荣赫鹏退出了拉萨,其涉藏职业生涯也宣告终结。但是其侵藏影响巨大:首先,英国人对清政府防务西藏的能力有了更深刻的了解,这助长了英国政府尤其是英印政府对西藏的觊觎之心;其次,在荣赫鹏进攻拉萨过程中,迅速成长了一批奉荣赫鹏思想为圭臬的侵藏急进分子,这批人成为此后几十年英国侵藏的骨干力量。值得注意的是,荣赫鹏离开西藏后针对英国政府的批评行了辩解与"反思",这些充斥着帝国主义强盗逻辑和殖民主义理论的"反思",被有意无意地视作了英国之后处理印藏事务的指导方针。Francis E Younghusband,a crazy imperialist,led the army to attack Lhasa of Tibet of China under the support of George Nathaniel Curzon,then Governor- General of India. This invasion not only severely threatened China＇s sovereignty,but also disrupted the British government＇s strategic layout in Asia. Younghusband withdrew from Lhasa at last and his Tibet- related career came to an end. However,the impacts were huge. Firstly,the British had a deeper understanding of the Qing government＇s defense ability in Tibet of China which fostered the British government＇s ambition later,especially the British Raj＇s appetite for Tibet of China. Secondly,some followers of Younghusband grew up during the period of Younghusband＇s invasion of Tibet of China,and they became the major force in invading Tibet of China in the up- coming scores of years. It is noteworthy that Younghusband made an allegation against the British government＇s criticism and offered some＂reflections＂on his invasion. Later,these reflections filled with gangster logic of imperialism and colonialism were regarded intentionally or unintentionally as the guiding principles by the British government for dealing with Tibetan issues.
