摘　　要：独立学院作为我国现阶段高等教育一种新的办学形式,经过十几年的发展,已成为我国高等教育的重要组成部分。但其发展过程中仍存在办学定位模糊、教学模式单一等制约其上升的"瓶颈"问题,当下教育部要引导一批新建本科院校进行转型发展,因此,独立学院向应用技术型大学转型是大势所趋。基于独立学院的发展现状,应用管理学中SWOT分析法,剖析了独立学院向应用技术型大学转型的内部环境和外部环境,从而为其在转型过程中发挥优势、弥补劣势提供方向指导,同时为我国部分独立学院的转型发展提供一定借鉴。Independent college has become an important part of higher education in our country as a new form of running higher education at the present stage in China after years of development.But in the process of its development, there still exists location fuzzy and teaching model of the single such as the rise of ＂bottleneck＂ problem.Besides, the Ministry of education guide the transformation and development of a batch of newly established undergraduate colleges.Therefore, it is an inevitable trend that transforming to the application of technology university is the better road to the independent college. Based on the development status of independent college, this paper applies the SWOT analysis method of management science and analyzes the internal environment and external environment of the independent college transforming to application of technology university.Thus it can provide the direction of how to make use of its advantages and disadvantages in the process of transformation.At the same time, it can provide certain reference for the transformation of some independent colleges in our country.
