摘　　要：随着我国经济发展和城市化进程的加快,城市蔓延问题逐渐突显,引起了学者们的高度重视。从城市蔓延概念的界定、蔓延的量化、蔓延的影响三个方面,较为系统地回顾了国内外文献研究进展,并对相关问题做了评述。这些研究对我国当前如何应对城市蔓延提供了有价值的启示。Urban sprawl is becoming more and more prominent along with thespeeding upeconomy development and urbanization in our country,which,as a result, causing the scholars to attach great importance to it. This paper reviews the main achievements of urban sprawl studies, and mainly discusses four aspects of urban sprawlincluding the definitions, quantization, influences and strategies related to it in order to systematically show the progress of domestic and foreign literature studies, and then makes comment on the related issues. These researches are supposed to through light up on how to deal with urban sprawl in China.
