摘　　要：分析研究了XMPP(Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol)协议和MINA(Multipurpose Infrastructure for N etwork Applications),以及基于该协议和框架的即时通信服务器。在此基础上对服务器间通信进行分布式扩展,将其分为核心服务器和园区服务器,大大提高了整个通信系统的可扩展性和可维护性。最后,提出了对分布式即时通信服务器发展与应用的展望。This paper analyzes and studies the XMPP （Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol） protocol and MINA （Multipurpose Infrastructure for Network Applications） framework, and Instant Messaging Server based on this protocol and this framework. Based on the analysis and study, the communication between servers is extended in distributed mode and the servers can be divided into the core server and the park server, so the expansibility and maintainability of the whole communication system are improved significantly. Finally, the development and application of disn＇ibuted instant messaging server is proposed.
