摘　　要：年初,在中国美术学院美术馆主办的系列展览中,苏新平作为第一位艺术家,展出了200多幅优秀的艺术作品。这些画作以"经验与超验""迷失的寓言""悬而未决"等专题为线索,向观看者们展示了苏新平"一路走来"的创作历程。这位面目沧桑的画者于1960年生于内蒙古集宁市,1977年入部队服兵役,1983年毕业于天津美术学院绘画系,毕业后在内蒙古师范大学美术系任教。1989年毕业于中央美术学院版画系,获得硕士学位,并留校任教至今。他早期以版画成名,后又以油画作品享誉艺术圈。他将自己的艺术创作分为三个时期:第一个时期以蒙古草原为主题,虽然是描绘记忆中的风景,展现的却是个人对都市生活的对立情绪与心理状态。第二个时期立足于现当代社会背景,揭露社会矛盾与冲突。第三个时期,则倾向于运用反讽的语言模式,深化了对于社会批判的情绪。从石版画到油画,再到其他媒介如雕塑或者装置,苏新平始终平静地革新着艺术语言,以沉思者的视角观察世界,一路走来,他用画笔不断追问着社会矛盾、人生价值、艺术理念与终极关怀。在这里,我们节选了苏新平个人的部分艺术理念与言论,并摘录了批评家们对其作品的精彩评述,将二者对比参看,以帮助观者更好地体会艺术家本人的创作意图与其艺术创作的个人风格。At the beginning of this year, the Museum of Contemporary Art of CAA Exhibition Series were started with the exhibition of more than 200 excellent works of Sun Xinping. Themed on ＂Experience and Transcendental＂, ＂Allegory of Being Lost＂, ＂Unresolved＂ and so on, Su＇s works tell how he has been walking on his way of artistic innovation. Su looks like a man of stories. Born in Jining City, Inner Mongolia in 1960, he joined the army in 1977, and after graduating from the Department of Painting of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1983, he became a teacher at the School of Art of Inner Mongolia Normal University. In 1989, he graduated from the Printmaking Department, Central Academy of Fine Arts with a master＇s degree, and started to serve there to present. In his early career, he made a name with prints, and later, he shifted his fbcus to oil painting creation where he also built up his reputation. He divided his artistic creation into three stages. In the first stage, his works mainly took the grassland of Inner Mongolia as themes. By depicting the scenery in his memory, he tried to express his rejection to urban life. In the second stage, he focused on disclosing social contradictions and conflicts in the context of contemporary society.
