摘 要:中国大陆有114个历史文化名城,这些古城在保留其历史风貌的同时,也在努力进行城市更新以承载现代生活的需求。城市设计者关心人们对城市的认知意象如何,因此运用感性工学的方法进行评价测量。人们对于古城的整体意象主要来源于城市的公共空间,而商业街道空间是普遍而共有的。古城商业街意象是千篇一律还是会随着空间特征不同而产生变化,以及不同地域背景差异对认知意象的影响,这是文章需要研究的问题。文章选取了4个具有地域代表性的古城商业街作为研究对象,采用"语意差异量尺"对大陆以及台湾人士进行问卷调查,利用SPSS统计工具进行分析,根据量化的结果推断出古城商业街的设计特征与语意意象的关联性。China's Mainland has 114 cities of Cultural and Historical Interest, which retains its historic character at the same time, making efforts to urban renewal to meet the needs of modern life. Urban designers are concerned with people's image of the city; therefore Semantic evaluation research is used. Image of the ancient city mainly come from the public space, while commercial street space is common and shared. People's impression for the ancient city streets would be always the same or would differ with those change spatial characteristics, which is the question to be studied in this article. This paper selected four representative commercial streets of ancient city as research subjects, using semantic evaluation research on people of the mainland and Taiwan. The purpose was to analyze the relationship between design features and the image evaluation on the commercial streets of ancient city.
