摘　　要：北宋、西夏政权长期对峙中,北宋王朝对黄河的军事功能颇为借重,并在黄河沿线的兵力部署、防凌和打凌等活动中多有体现。这种军事战略的运用,客观上为北宋王朝防御西夏发挥了一定的有效作用,成为其整体对外军事防御格局中的一个重要构成部分。同时,这一战略也充分暴露出北宋王朝对外斗争中的软弱性,为宋夏斗争的长期开展带来一定弊端。For the Northern Song government,the Yellow River played very important role in the period of defense against Xixia.It was the best explanation that the troop deployment and the action of fangling and daling. This type of military strategy became a very important part of the Northern Song government＇ s military defense strategy,which defensed against Xixia effectively. On the other side,it showed defects that the Northern Song government＇ s weakness in the war.
