摘　　要：20世纪90年代初,英国在设立了系列以实践为导向的专业博士之外,又增设了实践博士。从知识生产转型、高校竞争发展、现代网络媒体产生和国外发展经验影响等方面来看,英国设立实践博士有其必然性和可行性。相对于哲学博士和专业博士,实践博士在专业设置、研究模式、实践类型、教学培养和学位授予等方面,均具有鲜明的特征。总结英国实践博士的形成及特征,结合自身传统和实践经验,我国高等教育在学位制度上,要突破学术与专业的二元划分;在实践运行上,要注重质量与效益的双重兼顾。In the early 1990s, the UK added practice-based doctorate besides a series of practice-oriented professional doctorates, which is a necessary and feasible design in terms of knowledge production transformation, the intense competition among colleges and universities, the birth of modern network media, and the influence of educational development abroad. Compared with Ph.D. and professional doctorate, the practice-based doctorate has its distinctive features in its specialty setup, research mode, practice type, cultivation, and degree granting. Summarizing the formation and features of British practice-based doctorate and reflecting upon the current situation of Chinese doctorate system, we should break through the dual division of academics and profession in the design of degree programs, and emphasize the balance between quality and benefits in practice.
