摘 要:本文提出并设计了一种基于光子晶体负折射效应的电光偏转器,通过电压改变5CB相列型液晶分子的指向矢从而改变其折射率,并对电光偏转器进行偏转控制。应用平面波展开法(PWE)和二维时域有限差分法(2D-FDTD),对光子晶体的负折射特性和自准直特性进行仿真,实现了光路的分离与偏转。仿真结果表明,该电光偏转器可实现20°的较大偏转,而且偏转角随折射率呈线性变化。An electro-optic deflector based on negative refraction effect of a two-dimensional Photonic Crystal (PC) infiltrated with liquid crystal was proposed. The deflector was achieved by applying the electric field which could rotate the angle of liquid crystal molecules. By using the Plane Wave Expansion method and 2D-finite-difference time-domain (2D-FDTD) method on software RSoft CAD, negative refraction effect and the self-collimation effect of photonic crystal were demonstrated. The separation of light path and deflection could be realized by the negative refraction effect, and simulation data were analyzed. The result shows that the deflection range can be achieved up to 20° and the deflection angle linearly varies with the refractive indices.
