摘　　要：生态足迹是研究可持续发展的重要工具.通过建立生态足迹模型,对恩施州1990、2000、2010年三个时间点的生态足迹指标进行分析,了解恩施州生态足迹数量变化、生态承载力变化、生态盈余(赤字)趋势,最后联合本地区的经济经行分析,发现恩施州的经济发展是不可持续的.Ecological footprint is an important tool for the study of sustainable development.Through the establishment of ecological footprint model,the ecological footprint index of 1990,2000 and 2010 were an-alyzed.The ecological footprint,ecological carrying capacity and ecological surplus（ deficit）were ana-lyzed,and the result shows that economic development of Enshi prefecture is not sustainable.
