摘　　要：以改革开放为突破口和催化剂,我国社会正经历重大变化和转型,在社会变动过程中,许多重大的现实问题需要史学提供思考和回答。值得我们注意的是,在社会转型过程中来自史学的声音很微弱,甚至在许多重大的问题上失声了,史学在社会的变化中逐渐失去了自己应有的位置,史学与时代、史学与社会存在明显的疏离,史学发展少了些生机和活力。我们认为史学应该正视和适应当今社会的变化和转型,因时而变,既不抱残守缺,也不附势媚俗,在保持史学独立学术品格的前提下,通过史学的社会化过程,积极主动地在社会的变化中找到自己的位置和时代使命,并对社会变化和转型做出具有历史深度的思考和回应。Our society is experiencing significant change and transformation with the reform and opening-up policy. In this process, many realistic issues need to be settled with the help of historiography. However, the voice of historiography is very weak or even speechless on many major issues. Historiography have gradually lost its due position with the deep gap between historiography and time, historiography and society. Its development lacks vitality and energy. This paper holds that historiography should face up to and adapt itself to social changes, changing with times, neither conservative nor submitting to the power. Through its socialization, historiography should keep its independent academic character, actively find out and bear the mission of the era, thus make a in-depth response to social changes and social transformation.
