摘　　要：李双元先生一直致力于国际私法的教学与研究工作,在国际私法许多领域都做出了开拓性的贡献。法律趋同化、国际社会本位理念及国际民商新秩序的构建三者较全面的反映了先生的国际私法思想。法律趋同化是先生国际私法研究的起点,国际民商新秩序为国际私法功能与作用的新定位,也是先生国际私法研究的归宿,而国际本位理念则为国际私法立法与实践的指导理念,三者具有紧密的联系。这些全新法律概念和思想的提出既是当代国际私法基本走向的理论概括,也必将对整个国际私法的发展产生深刻的影响。Mr. Li Shuangyuan has been working on the teaching and research of Private Interna- tional Law for most of his career and he has made pioneer work in a number of aspects in Private Inter- national Law research. The ideas of Convergence of Laws, Emphasizing the General Interest of the In- ternational Communities and Achieving a New Order in International Civil and Commercial Legal Rela- tionship reflect his general view on Private International Law. The idea of Convergence of Laws is the start-point of his research; Achieving a New Order in International Civil and Commercial Legal Rela- tionship is a new orientation of function of Private International Law and it is the utmost goal of his re- search. The notion of Emp guidance of legislations and hasizing the General Interest of the International Communities provides law enforcement of Private International Law. On a macro-scope, three notions mentioned above have close connection and they are theoretical summary of the trends of cur- rent Private International Law and they will influence the developments of the Private International Law.
