间接拒绝言语行为的语境顺应性分析

摘　　要：结合Jef Verschueren提出的顺应理论,分析间接拒绝言语行为具有礼貌性、可否定性及间接性的特征,并指出它的选用在一定程度上是动态顺应语言使用者、心智世界和社交世界这三个交际语境要素的结果,以期揭示其运行机理,从而充实对间接拒绝言语行为的语用研究。Based on Adaptation Theory proposed by Jef Verschueren, this paper first analyzes the characteristics of indirect refusal：politeness, potential negativity and indirectness. Then it points out that, to a certain extent, the language users＇ selection of indirect refusal is the product of dynamic adaptation to the communicative context, especially adapting to the three contextual elements： the language users, mental world and social world. The analysis of this kind of speech act is aiming to reveal its operating mechanisms, so as to enrich the pragmatic study of indirect refusal.
