摘 要:以标记实现个体识别是野生动物研究和保护管理的基本前提。传统标记方法存在标记物易脱落或损坏、可能影响被标记动物生理和行为、难以准确实现个体识别等缺陷。被动集成应答器(passive integrated transponder,PIT)技术已逐步应用于野生动物的研究和保护管理,标记动物个体识别的准确性和效率得到极大提高。介绍了PIT的硬件装置及特点,总结了其在野生动物行为学、生理学、保护监测、驯养管理和经营利用等领域中的应用,讨论了其在动物个体识别上的优势和局限性,并对其未来的发展和应用进行展望。通过与其他技术的结合,可使PIT在野生动物科研和保护管理中发挥更加重要的作用。Tagging methods for individual identification are useful for wildlife research and conservation.Traditional tagging or marking techniques generally have the disadvantage which influences the accuracy of individual identification,for example,tags can be lost,and sometimes the tag numbers themselves can become illegible,and tags can alter the physiology and behavior of or toward tagged individuals.Passive integrated transponder(PIT) has been gradually used to study and manage wildlife,because higher accuracy and effectiveness of individual identification have been obtained after the advent of PIT.Here,we briefly describe the hardware device and characteristics of PIT,summarize the application in animal behavior,physiology,conservation monitoring,breeding management,trade and utilization,discuss the advantages and limitations,and finally assess potential for future development and application.By integrating PIT technology with additional other relative instruments,PIT will play a more important role in the research and protection of wildlife.
