摘  要:伴随着微博、微信等社交媒体在人们日常生活中发挥越来越大的作用,社交媒体也挑战了传统的语言传播方式。微博、微信作为语言传播平台发展迅速,形式多样。本文分析了微博、微信进行语言传播,尤其是英语的传播与教学策略,讨论了社交媒体作为语言传播平台出现的原因、类型、特征等。文章认为社交媒体作为语言传播学习策略和手段的出现是多种因素作用的结果,并且在今后将会更加受欢迎。在汉语国际传播的大形势下,社交媒体作为语言传播策略和手段值得进一步研究和借鉴。With social media like microblogging and WeChat playing a more important role in our daily life, they have posed challenges to the traditional ways of language spread. Microblogging and WeChat in various forms as the platform of language spread have enjoyed a quick development. This paper discusses the origins, styles and characteristics of such social media, especially their roles in the promotion of language spread and their influence on the spread of English and its teaching strategies. It concludes that various factors have resulted in the use of social media as the means of language spread and learning, and the future will see its greater popularity. Against the background of the international promotion of the Chinese language, it is worthwhile to further study social media as the means and strategies of language spread.
