摘　　要：文章结合期刊发展的历史，探索了期刊的社会功能，认为期刊是革命的宣传家和斗 士，期刊是社会的家庭教师，期刊是人们休闲生活的益友。This paper is intended to epptore the social founction of the periodi cal combining the history of periodical development.In this paper the author reg arded periodical as propagadist,fighter,the private teachers of society and a fr iend of people’s recreational life.
