摘　　要：承担社会责任是高校图书馆发展的新途径新方法,本文结合高校图书馆服务于畜牧业信息化的现实情况,从信息资源、科研服务跟踪、用户信息意识培养、信息技术人才培养四个方面阐述了高校图书馆的社会责任,及图书馆在畜牧业信息化发展中的作用与价值。Bearing social responsibility is a new approach for the development of university library, this paper, combined with the reality of university library services in animal husbandry informatization, from the four aspects of information resources, scientific research service tracking, users' information awareness cultivation,and information technological talents training,elaborated the university library's social responsibility, and the role and value of library in the development of animal husbandry informationization.
