摘　　要：改革开放30多年来,我国经济社会发展取得重大成就,为全面建成小康社会奠定坚实的基础。但我们必须清醒地看到,国内外经济发展的环境和形势已发生重大变化,经济社会发展面临巨大挑战。我国传统文化源远流长,博大精深,其经济思想不乏精华,荀子裕民富国经济思想独树一帜,其中蕴含的价值理念,对于我们摆脱在发展过程中遇到的瓶颈,确定新的发展理念具有深邃的借鉴价值。今天我们不妨回归传统,借鉴传统,汲取传统文化中的营养要素,探求全面建成小康社会的新思路。Over the past 30 years since the reform and opening up policies w as adopted, China has made tremendous achievements in its economic and social development, which has laid a solid foundation for building up a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way. However, the domestic and foreign economic development environment and situation has changed a great deal, a huge challenge for China. China has a long history of rich traditional culture, and there is no lack of his economic thoughts. Xunzi＇ s economic thought is a typical example. His thoughts are still valuable for us to get over the bottleneck hurdles encountered in economic development and establish new concepts.
