摘　　要：《龙种》是诺贝尔文学奖得主赛珍珠的一部小说,讲述了中国普通民众觉醒抗日的故事。本文以韩礼德的系统功能语法以及克瑞斯和勒文的视觉语法框架为理论基础,从再现意义、互动意义、构图意义及声音符号系统四方面对《龙种》进行多模态话语分析研究,旨在进一步探讨图像作为社会符号如何与语言共同作用,希冀扩展《龙种》新的研究维度。＂Dragon Seed ＂ is a novel of Sai Zhenzhu, a Nobel Prize winner in literature. Taking the experience of Tan Ling＇s whole family as the main line, it tells a story of Anti-Japanese by the awakening ordinary Chinese people. Regarding Halliday＇s system functional grammar and Chris and Levine＇s visual grammar framework as the theoretical basis, and from reproducing the meaning, interactive meaning, compositional meaning, and sound symbols, this paper researches its multimodal discourse, and further explores how the image interacts with the language as the symbol of social, hoping to extend its new research dimension.
