摘　　要：孟子是战国时期的思想家和教育家。孟子"舍生取义"学说和对"圣人"理想人格的追求,对当代大学生树立正确的人生观和价值观有着借鉴和启示作用,孟子"以天下为己任"的使命感和进取精神,也有利于培养大学生的责任意识。As a great thinker and educator in the Warring States Period, Mencius with his thought of＂sacrificing life for the sake of righteousness＂and his pursuit of ideal personality of＂sage＂sets a good example for contemporary college students to form positive views of life and values.And his sense of responsibility,namely ＂serving people worldwide as one＇s duty＂,is also beneficial for college students to cultivate responsibility consciousness.
