摘　　要：世界高等教育中心总是随着世界科学活动中心的转移而转移。从大学的中世纪时代至今,世界高等教育中心由意大利转至美国,已发生了三次转移。而当今,世界高等教育中心发生再一次转移的可能性越来越大,而考察世界高等教育中心转移所需要的条件发现,中国作为新的世界高等教育中心具有较大可能性。中国要真正成为新的世界高等教育中心,就要做好承接国之准备,从根本上说就是要从理念、制度、文化等各维度出发,进行一次全面而深刻的高等教育实践重构,建设世界一流大学,这也是实现中华民族伟大复兴和国家持续昌盛的必然选择。World higher education center is always moving with the transferring of the scientific activity center. From the Middle Ages up to now,the world higher education center has experienced 3 shirts from Italy to the United States. Nowadays,another shift is likely to take place. After surveying the conditions of the shift required,we have found that there is a rather larger possibility that China will be the new center. While to be the real new center of the whole world,we should make good preparations. Basically starting from the ideas,systems and cultures,we shall reconstruct a comprehensive and profound higher educational practice and establish worldclass universities,which will be an inevitable choice to bring about a great rejuvenation and continuous flourishing of the Chinese nation.
