摘 要:严歌苓小说中空间意象如草地、草原与地窖,都与神话思维有关,其喻指性关涉天堂、地狱、炼狱三重文化内涵,涵摄了作者对社会现实的批判与对理想人性的追求。阁楼、大海等空间意象,显示出的焦灼、彷徨与无奈的主体真实意图。对严歌苓小说空间意象价值蕴含的分析,不仅能够增强对严歌苓小说艺术性的理解,而且能够深入掌握其在双重文化语境下对新移民的生存处境和身份焦虑的思考,体现了在新的历史条件下严歌苓的人文关怀。Spatial images in Yan Geling's fiction, such as lawn, grassland and cellar, are all related to mythological thinking, their metaphors referring to the three-level culture of paradise, hell and purgatory, that contains the author' s critique of social realities and her pursuit of ideal humanity. On the other hand, spatial images such as attic and ocean reveal the true intention of a subject that is anxious, oscillatory and helpless. An analysis of the values contained in Yan Geling' s spatial images will help not only enhance one' s understanding of her fictional artistry but also get a handle on her thoughts on the existential circumstances and identity anxiety of new migrants in a dual-cultural context, showing Yan Geling's human and cultural concerns in a new cultural situation.
