摘　　要：高校是美国当代中国研究的发源地,曾长期是当代中国研究的主阵地,并为美国政府提供决策咨询。新世纪以来,美国的当代中国研究呈现出了新的态势。首先,智库逐渐成为当代中国研究的主阵地,高校的研究相对萎缩,其决策咨询功能亦正在为智库所取代。高校与智库的当代中国研究进入了深度关联的阶段。其次,美国智库采取了多种措施以强化其研究对于中国的影响。针对这一新态势,中国方面既要汲取美国智库的经验,推动中国特色新型智库建设,也要积极应对其日益增强的对华影响力。Institutions of higher learning are the cradle of America contemporary China study and the main land of contemporary China study for a long time and provide decisionmaking consultation for American government.The study of contemporary China in the U.S.revealed a new tendency since the new century.First of all,the think-tank has gradually become the main position of contemporary China study,Institutions of higher learning have relatively shrunk and its function of decision-making consultation also have been replaced by the thinktank.Contemporary China study at institution of higher learning and the think-tank enters the deep-associated phase.Secondly,the think-tank in the U.S.has taken various measures to strengthen its research influence on China.According to the new situation,China should not only draw on the experience of the think-tank in the U.S.and promote the construction of new thinktank with Chinese characteristics,but also actively respond to its growing influence on China.
