摘　　要：普通话水平测试已经推行二十余年,在信息技术的影响下,测试方式历经"人工测试"、"录音测试"和"机辅测试"的变化,进入了现代化的发展时期。作为国家推广普通话的重要举措,在信度和效率得以保障的前提下,现阶段普通话水平测试的发展方向应该是与教育教学相结合,以便更好地发挥其社会效应。The Putonghua Proficiency Testing,i.e.Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi （PSC）has been carried out for more than 20 years.With the help of information technology,the method of PSC has undergone a rapid change from “manual testing”,“recording testing”to “computer-aided testing”, and reached the stage of modernization.As an important measure to popularize Putonghua in our country and with the guarantee of reliability and validity as the premise,this proficiency testing should be redirected to its combination with education and pedagogy in order to make better and full use of its social effects.
