摘　　要：近年来,拉美国家尤其是南美洲国家因其所蕴含的丰富自然资源、原材料及其广阔的经济与市场前景备受世界瞩目。美国作为当今世界唯一的超级军事大国,向来将该地区视作自己的"后院",不断试图通过政治、经济、文化、军事等各种手段维护其传统势力范围。与南美洲国家开展军事合作成为美国在该地区不断维护与拓展自身国家利益的重要手段之一,对这一问题的研究具有重要的理论价值和现实意义。本文从冷战后美国与南美洲国家军事合作的五大形式入手,对当前双方的军事合作基本情况进行归纳分类并分析双方军事合作的主要动因和制约因素、其产生的作用以及未来的发展趋势。双方的军事合作在某种程度上是一把"双刃剑",一方面实现了双方的个性化需求和共同目标,另一方面,由于这种合作所具有的较强政治性,明显的不对称性、不对等性,美国与南美洲国家的合作一直存在矛盾,南美洲国家内部之间也存在不小的猜忌和怀疑。在未来很长一段时间内,美国与南美洲国家军事合作不会发生太大的变化,还将继续保持合作与矛盾并存、矛盾中求合作、合作中求发展的特点。域外新兴大国踏足南美、南美洲国家间区域一体化等将为双方军事合作带来新的内容与特点。As the sole super power in the world,the United States usually regards South America a part of its own'backyard',seeking to maintain its dominant influence over the region politically, economically and militarily. The military cooperation with South American countries has become one of the important means for the U. S. to maintain and expand its national interests in the region. The article shows the five major forms of U. S.- South American military cooperation after the cold war,analyzes the motivating and restrictive factors of the military cooperation. It is pointed out that the military cooperation,to some extent,is like a 'double-edged sword'. As a result of asymmetry and inequity,it has been beset with political concerns of South American countries over the U. S. dominance. It is expected that both sides will maintain the cooperation,but it is confronting challenges from the increasing presence of emerging powers in the region and military integration among South American countries.
