摘　　要：制度变迁及其相应的复杂影响必然在城市空间结构上有着明显的表征,并强烈影响着城市空间增长的进程。文章考察改革开放以来中国制度变迁及其空间效应,构建中国城市空间增长驱动力理论分析模型并进行实证验证,结果表明:城市经济发展水平、人口增长、道路交通情况、农用地租金和政府财政分权共同影响着我国城市空间增长,其中道路交通改善和人口增长具有主导性的驱动作用;政府财政分权对东部城市空间增长的驱动力更大,耕地产值的提高对东部城市空间增长的抑制不明显,中西部城市空间扩张最主要驱动因素是道路交通系统的完善;单位耕地高产值和耕地保护政策一定程度上遏制了建成区的盲目扩张,大城市的空间规模对人口增长的敏感度降低,而劳动密集产业发展带来的人口规模增长是小城市迅速扩张的潜在巨大推动力。As the spatial projection of urban social and economic activities, the fast growing of urban space structure reflects the dramatic social and economic changes of the social system undertaking; meanwhile, its development has also been influenced by the latter. By the study of institutional change and it＇ s spatial effects Since China＇s reform and opening, as well as the construction of theoretical framework of China＇ s urban spatial growth drivers, the result of empirical research shows that： （1） Economy development, population growth, transport cost, agricultural land rental and government fiscal decentralization, these five factors all have influence on the urban spatial growth in our country, of which the population growth and decline of transport cost have leading roles in driving urban growth. （2） Government fiscal decentralization plays a more powerful role in eastern urban expansion, while the increase of farmland output has little effect on the eastern urban spatial growth. The improvement of transportation system is the key driver of urban expansion in mid-western area. （3） High output of cultivated land and farmland protection policy can curb the blind expansion of construction land to certain extent. The metropolitan spatial size is less sensitive to population growth, while to small cities, population growth is resulted from the development of local labor-intensive industries, which is a huge driving force for rapid urban expansion.
