摘　　要：建筑大师袁培煌是伴随新中国成立成长起来的一代建筑师。他的60年建筑师职业生涯,见证了中国现代建筑发展历史。跌宕起伏的时代洪流中,他潜心建筑创作,乐此不疲。他始终关注建筑技术,秉持功能使用第一的原则,完成了多个重大项目设计。创作之外他还参与了中南地区标准设计图集编制与审查、全国注册建筑师考试命题、建筑教育等工作。他说,要成为一个好的建筑师,应当有全面的知识、包容的心态和追求创新的精神。Master architect Yuan Peihuang is one of the architectural generation who grew up with the New People＇ s Republic of China. The 60 years of his architectural career has witnessed the development of Chinese modern architecture. He devotes and enjoys himself into architectural design during the historical ups and downs. He always pays attention to architectural technology and holds on the principle of ＂function comes first＂ while completing many major projects. He also attends other works besides design such as the editing and censorship of standard design atlas in South Central China, the proposition of National Architect Registration Examination and architecture education. He said that a good architect needs comprehensive knowledge, toIerant attitude and the spirit of pursuing innovation.
