摘　　要：通过介绍慧科数据库的主要功能,归纳了该数据库的特点和优势,并分别与传统方式、其它报纸数据库以及网络资源进行了比对,结合慧科数据库在国家图书馆的应用实例,指出其实际使用价值和不足之处,为咨询馆员开展日常咨询服务提供了借鉴和参考。Through the introduction on the main functions of WiseSearch database, this paper summarized the characteristics and advantages of this database, and compared it with the traditional ways, other newspaper databases and network resource. On the basis of the application in National Library of China, it pointed out this database＇ s practical application value and shortcomings to provide reference for librarians to carry out daily consulting service.
