摘　　要：清末民初,环巢湖地区水上运输网络渐趋复杂完整,区域市场开放程度得到提升,商品经济的发展进而有力地推动了环巢湖地区社会近代化的进程。但是由于缺乏良好的社会生态环境,从整体上看,清末民初,环巢湖地区由传统向近代的演变表现出较大的艰巨性。During late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, with the formation of modern waterway transport network, the regional economy of Chaohu Basin was integrated into the domestic market, which promoted the level of regional economy and the development of region modernization. But due to the lack of good social environment, on the whole, the process from the tradition to the modernization showed much difficulty during that period, and the development of region modernization was very slow.
