摘　　要："外国文学学术史研究丛书"的宗旨是"瞄准外国文学经典作家作品和思潮流派,进行历时和共时的双向梳理"。该丛书具有三个特色:其一,各专著的选题和研究具有相当的广度和深度;其二,每部著作都在基本统一的结构下充分发挥各位作者的潜能,调动他们的积极性和独创性,使丛书呈现百花齐放的缤纷局面;其三,丛书的学术视野开阔、学术含金量高,体现学术研究的高雅趣味和高贵品质,同时又兼顾论著的趣味性和通俗性,彰显雅俗共赏之势。综上,这套丛书具有里程碑式的意义,是中国学者适应时代的需求和历史的进步而取得的重大学术成果,充分体现了他们独特的本土意识、批评视界以及对外国文学经典的立场和洞见。The series of Studies of Academic History of Foreign Literature aim at dealing with the history of classic writers and their works as well as some trends and schools of thoughts in foreign literature from all perspectives. The monographs in this series demonstrate three distinct features. First, they cover a wide range of subjects and display the profundity of thoughts; second, while the monographs share a common structure, each of them has its specific traits, thus fulfilling the authors＇ potential and giving full play to the their initiative and originality; third, the authors display broad academic horizons, superb elegance in the academic studies in their monographs, and meanwhile, they also take into consideration readers＇ need and predilections. In general, the series of monographs stand out as the notable landmarks in the progress of foreign literature studies in China. They fully demonstrate Chinese scholars＇ critical insights and innovative viewpoints with regard to classic writers in foreign literature.
