摘　　要：菩萨湾摩崖造像位于四川省安岳县岳阳镇新村,现存造像19龛,题材丰富,有千佛、西方净土变、千手观音、五十三佛、十方佛等,第5龛发现一则说明造龛原由的题记。依据造像题材、风格及题记等,造像分属唐宋、清至现代两个大的时段,唐宋时期造像数量较多。There is a cliff sculpture of the Pusawan, or Bodhisattva Bay, in Yueyang Town, Anyue County,Sichuan Province, consisting of nineteen niches filled with various Buddhist sculptures. Many motifs and classic Buddhist figures have been found, including the thousand-Buddha motif, Pure Land illustrations, thousand-armed and thousand-eyed Avalokitesvaras, Fifty-three Buddhas, Buddhas of the Ten Directions; even an inscription explaining why these sculptures were made is present in niche five. According to the contents and styles of the sculpture as well as the inscription, the sculptures were mainly made during two periods, the first during the Tang and Song dynasties and the second from the Qing dynasty till today. The work from the former period accounts for the majority of the sculptures.
