摘 要:身份研究是近年来语用学研究的热点问题。目前学界达成共识的是身份的"共建观"即身份是通过会话双方动态协商得以建构的,然而少有研究探讨在会话的整个进程中,身份是如何作为语用资源得以建构并动态转换的,从而或多或少忽视了身份研究的"修辞观",即说话人自我建构一种或多种身份(转换)以策略性服务于交际目标的实现。本研究认为"语用身份"的提出打开了身份研究的另一面,推进了"修辞观"的研究,为身份研究的本质主义与建构主义之争提供了中间道路,淡化了身份分类的闭合性与开放性之争,并且将进一步推动语用学学科发展和社会心理语用学的研究。Identity studies have been a heated issue in the field of pragmatics in recent years. A consensus has been reached among scholars on "co-construction view", that is, identity construction being built on the dynamic negotiation between inter- locutors. But how identity is constructed and shifted as a pragmatic resource in the passage of the whole conversation is under- studied, thus more or less neglecting its "rhetorical view", that is, speakers' strategic employment of one or more identities (shift) for the realization of communicative needs. The present study, framed under the concept of Pragmatic Identity, propo- ses that the initiation of Pragmatic Identity opens up the other side of identity, advancing its study on "rhetorical view", pro- vides a middle way for the dispute between essentialism and constructivism, plays down the debate on identity categories be- tween close-endedness and open-endedness, and facihtates the deve|opment of pragmatics as a whole and social psychological pragmatics in particular.
