摘　　要：文章对编辑活动的基本属性是社会文化信息的选择和转换；编辑活动的基本特征表现为：以作者的创伤物为逻辑起点的编辑的再创造行为，同时编辑又是作者和读者之间文化交流的桥梁或中介；文中还分析了编辑信息选择，评价，转换过程，探讨了编辑创造 性劳动的间接性和隐匿性特性。The athor investigates and analyses the connotation and feature of editorial activities under the background of information times. The aim is to reveal deeply the status and functions of editors in the social culture system and flourishing our country through science and education and to deepen people's understanding edtorial activities. This paper considers that the basic property of editorial activities is to choose and transform social culture information. It shows that editorial activity is an action of re-creation as a logical starting point by author's work, at the same time editors are the bridge and media of authors and readers. It analyses the choice, estimation and transformation of editorial information and probes the feature of indirection and conceal- ment of the editorial creative work.
