摘　　要：建国初期,在党和人民政府的领导下,西南民族地区在土地改革中大力宣传民族政策、培养提拔使用少数民族干部、推行统一战线工作、尊重民族风俗习惯,党的民族政策得到了贯彻落实,从而使西南民族地区顺利完成了土地改革,新型的民族关系开始形成,具有重大的政治和经济意义。In the early days of new China,under the leadership of the Party and the people＇ s government,the southwest national area propagandized ethnic policies in land reform,promoted the use of minority cadres,implemented the united front work,respected national customs and habits, the party ＇ s national policy was implemented. The southwest national area successfully completed the land reform and a new type of national relations began to form,which had great political and economic significance.
