摘　　要：《太平天国》这部著作是史景迁太平天国研究领域的重要成果。史景迁在《太平天国》中,主要探讨了他关于洪秀全以及太平天国运动的基本观点,并着重阐述太平天国研究的方法,即独特的写作模式和开放的史料观。史景迁在《太平天国》研究中所运用的方法为我国的历史学术研究成果拓展到公共领域提供了借鉴。The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom of Hong Xiuquan is a significant work of Jonathan D. Spenee in the study of The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. In The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom of Hong Xiuquan,Spence mainly expounds on his basic ideas concerning Hong Xiuquan and The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Furthermore, the paper elaborates on the unique research methods, namely the particular writingmode and liberal view on the historical data adopted by Spence concerning the The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom study,which affords lessons for the expansion of historical research results into the public domain in China.
